MDC President to retire after 20 years

David Dodson, President of MDC in Durham, NC, has announced his plans to retire at the end of June, 2020. In a statement sent via email, Dodson praised “the powerful work underway in support of our mission to advance equity and opportunity across the South.” Dodson joined MDC in 1987 and has been leading the organization as President for the past 20 years. A search for Dodson’s successor will be led by members of the Board and chaired by Leslie Winner. BoardWalk Consulting has been selected to lead the search with the Board.
