Kashef Ijaz named new Vice President of Health Programs of The Carter Center

Kashef Ijaz, M.D., M.P.H., joins The Carter Center on October 1 as Vice President of Health Programs. A medical epidemiologist, Dr. Ijaz most recently served as Principle Deputy Director of the Center for Global Health at the CDC, where he has held leadership roles since 2002.
The appointment culminates a wide-ranging global search conducted by BoardWalk Consulting.
