Goodwill of North Georgia helps nearly 20,000 North Georgians find jobs annually.
President and CEO Keith Parker said the nonprofit, which connects employers with job seekers, invests $20 million annually in training and employment services.
“We train people to be a good worker,” Parker said. “For many who come through our doors, we show them how to be reliable (and help) them understand how they need to set up transportation and childcare.”
