Barbara Diaz

Barbara Diaz, Chief Financial Officer, is an enterprising and highly accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in accounting, forecasting, cash management, financial reporting, and training/development. She has established and maintained organization accounting procedures and internal controls. A forward-thinking leader who creates new tools to optimize staff performance.
Prior to joining Boardwalk, Barbara spent more than fifteen years in the Engineering Field and over seven years in healthcare, leading the accounting team for a chain of fifteen Nursing homes and Assisted Living Facilities.
Barbara is a mid-westerner from Appleton Wisconsin, her daughter and grandchildren still reside there and her son lives upstate New York. She received her Accounting and Business Administration education at the University of Wisconsin.
Family time is extremely important to Barbara and her husband Ralph, they especially enjoy cruising! They have cruised the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Hawaii, Alaska, trans-Atlantic, and the Mediterranean.
