Founded in 1929, Atlanta Ballet is the oldest continuously operating ballet company in the United States and one of the most enduring cultural institutions in the Southeast. With a legacy rooted in artistic excellence, education, and community engagement, Atlanta Ballet has long been a cornerstone of the region’s cultural identity.
Now, as the organization approaches its Centennial in 2029, Atlanta Ballet seeks an experienced Executive Director to help guide the institution into its next century. The ideal candidate is a strategic, relationship‑centered leader who brings financial rigor, operational discipline, and a deep respect for artistic excellence. This is a rare opportunity to partner with Artistic Director Gennadi Nedvigin and the Board of Trustees to strengthen the Ballet’s financial foundation, elevate its visibility, and ensure its continued impact for generations to come.
