Boardwalk Consulting is proud to announce the appointment of Jarasa Kanok as Director of Organizational Effectiveness at Union of Concerned Scientists. UCS is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to use rigorous, independent science to solve our planet’s most pressing problems. In her new role, Kanok will lead the nonprofit’s efforts to strengthen organizational capabilities in measuring impact and racial equity, among other duties. Boardwalk is excited for the scientific advancements this partnership will provide.

Jarasa Kanok is the Director of Organizational Effectiveness for the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she leads UCS efforts to strengthen organizational capabilities in measuring impact and advancing racial equity, and to optimize structures, systems, processes, and internal communications. Prior to joining UCS, Ms. Kanok was a senior manager and adaptive strategy lead at Monitor Institute by Deloitte. She has worked with foundations and nonprofits to elevate, champion, and advance their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, leading projects that sparked cultural and organization growth.
Ms. Kanok earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an AB in English and premedical studies from Harvard University. She currently serves on the Board of ITPC (International Treatment Preparedness Coalition), a global network of activists advocating for HIV treatment access.
