Alivia Duncan
Administrative and Marketing Associate

Alivia “Liv” Duncan, Administrative and Marketing Associate, brings over five years of nonprofit and social justice experience to BoardWalk Consulting. With a strong foundation in strategic communications and a detail-oriented approach to administration, she ensures that both internal operations and external messaging reflect the firm’s commitment to mission-driven excellence.
Before joining BoardWalk, Liv worked across Atlanta’s nonprofit sector—designing voter education campaigns, leading community events, and managing digital strategies that centered the voices of historically excluded communities. Her work spanned high-impact initiatives focused on civic engagement, youth leadership, leading community-centered projects that increased voter education, and community mobilization. She collaborated with national and grassroots partners to amplify underrepresented voices and helped increase Georgia’s youth voter turnout through storytelling, organizing, and intentional relationship-building.
At BoardWalk, Liv applies that same energy and insight to the firm’s executive search and marketing operations. She develops streamlined communications systems, maintains brand consistency across platforms, and designs tools that elevate client stories and stakeholder engagement.
A proud alumna of Clark Atlanta University, Liv earned her B.A. in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Public Relations, where she discovered her passion for storytelling and media strategy. Her leadership has been recognized with several honors, including XceleadHER 2022 Woman of the Year, the Emerging SiStar Leadership & Courage Award, and national fellowships with Supermajority and the Black Futures Lab.
Liv thrives at the intersection of mission and message—committed to using her skills to build visibility, trust, and momentum for organizations driving meaningful change.
